The recognition is hoped to encourage Vietnamese firms to further enhance their prestige in domestic and international markets as well as create more favourable conditions for foreign businesses to promote trade co-operation with local counterparts, deputy head of the MoIT's Import-Export Department Tran Thanh Hai said.
All the named businesses were credited for neither losing profits in 2010 and 2011, nor violating Vietnamese and international business laws. In addition, they all strictly followed export contracts to the letter and fulfilled their tax payment duties.
Seafood exporters occupied the biggest group in the list with 57 units, followed by the group of rice exporters with 44 units, the textile business (39 units), and rest are agricultural products, electrical equipment, and electronics.
