    Viet Nam’s seafood exports soar 13% in Q1

    Viet Nam’s seafood export turnover hit US$1.26 billion in the first quarter.

    According to preliminary data, the total seafood export turnover of the country hit US$1.26 billion in the first 3 months, up 13% year on year.

    Export items with strong upsurge included vannamei prawn (up 57.5%), processed products (41.4%), squid and cephalopod (27%). Shrimp, Pangasius and tuna remained the key export items in the quarter.
