Dong Phuong Co., Ltd currently has four workshops, producing 1,200MT of seafood pies; 500- 600MT of salmon, cod and saba; 350MT of octopus, and 80-100MT of octopus sashimi annually.
The company’s major markets are European and Japan.
Mr. Pham Van Quang, director of Dong Phuong Seafood Ltd., Co. said the company has to import 50% of its raw materials though it has a network of 13 supplying agents throughout the country. Seafood price increased as Chinese traders kept amassing the local raw materials.
