The province’s total capture and aquaculture production is expected to rise to 124,000 tons in 2015. The former will contribute 76,000 tons and the latter 48,000 tons.
To achieve the target, the province will increase the number of high-capacity offshore fishing vessels and promote fishery logistics (catch transport, fuel supply at sea, and inland processing).
In 2015, the aquaculture area in the province is estimated to hit 19,000 ha including 11,300 ha of freshwater fish and 7,700 ha of brackish water one.
