Binh dinh - Catch landing in Hoai Nhon district on the rise

The Division of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province, said so far this year catch landings increased by 1,770MT year on year to 15,630MT, reaching 47.2 percent of the yearly plan. The figure includes an increase of 420MT of ocean tuna landing to 2,260MT compared to the same period last year.

According to the Division’s report, fish landings have increased thanks to stable fishing grounds, and increasing price of seafood products. In addition, local fishers started to work in teams; thus they can minimize risks and improve working efficiency.
