Vinh Hoan Corp can provide a large volume of fish skin for collagen production given its present capacity of more than 300MT of raw fish a day.
The Corp said Dong Thap People’s Committee has recently allowed it and its partners to build a collagen plant in the province, with an investment capital of US$12 million and capacity of 1,000MT of finished products per year.
Collagen is mainly used in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
